Purpose of the Role:

Focus on the operations of the business, ensuring that we are creating the right operational foundations to facilitate our growth. Partner with the Distribution Executive around Financial decision making and Insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial and Commercial support into Distribution
  • Ownership of the Distribution Insights function
  • Influence and guide the Distribution operations team
  • Build strong and credible teams
  • Build strong internal partner relationships (IT, Finance, etc.)
  • Contribute to the broader Distribution leadership team.
  • Strategic ability to assist in long-term sustainability of the business
  • Build credibility with the senior leadership within the business
  • Build leaders and empower people through desire and motivation
  • Retain and grow talent into strong leadership
  • Make sound business and financial decisions that keep the business safe
  • Create innovative platforms to propel growth off (Tools, functions, physical environment, etc.)

Knowledge, Experience & Skills:

  • MBA/BCom plus/CIMA/CA (SA)
  • 8-10 years working experience
  • Strong operations background with the understanding of the Sales/Franchise environment in order to support that environment and propel it forward.
  • Strong business acumen
  • Make sound decisions
  • Self-generate and run independently
  • Experience in supporting a sales/franchise environment
  • Build strong relationships at all levels
  • Cognitive ability to connect the value chain of the business and understand the impact of their decision making
  • Strong commercial bias
  • Strong Leadership skills
  • Telephony (systems and sector knowledge)
  • Data acquisition and management
  • Analytics and Insights
